My Favorite 2D Artwork

One of my favorite pieces of 2D artwork is one that many will be familiar with: Vincent van Gogh’s “The Starry Night.” I love the whimsical atmosphere the painting radiates, along with the lighting of the moon and stars.

It was hard to choose my favorite artwork, not only because I like a variety of styles, but also because I haven’t viewed art or photography in a long time. The pandemic has made it difficult to go to art museums. Furthermore, I have been preoccupied with other things, ignoring art entirely. Hopefully, this class will help reinvigorate my love for art.
